About
I am a Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication with an assigned workload of 95% teaching and 5% service. During the 2025 calendar year, my work extended beyond routine instructional delivery to include the intentional expansion of experiential and service-learning infrastructure, resulting in measurable gains in student engagement, program capacity, and community impact. My efforts focused on advancing student success through applied, community-connected agricultural and STEM education aligned with the land-grant mission.
A distinguishing feature of my role is instructional leadership across multiple high-impact courses and programs. Through coordinated course design, sustained mentorship, and community partnerships, I support students in applying disciplinary knowledge in authentic contexts while strengthening communication, leadership, and public engagement skills. These efforts demonstrate performance that exceeds baseline expectations for my assigned workload and establish a strong foundation for continued instructional and programmatic growth.
