Rajesh is a PhD student in Entomology at the University of Georgia, focusing on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies for ornamental nurseries. His research encompasses phenology, host feeding preferences, and sustainable management of the red-headed flea beetle (Systena frontalis), with an emphasis on understanding insecticide resistance and developing eco-friendly pest control solutions. Rajesh’s work aims to optimize pest management practices while minimizing environmental impacts. With an MS from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute and deep agricultural roots in India, he is committed to bridging science and practical solutions to benefit farmers and the horticulture industry.
