The annual Mountain Beef Cattle Field Day will be April 19 at
the
Georgia Mountain Branch
Experiment Station in Blairsville, Ga.
Registration and refreshments start at 9:30 a.m., with the
program beginning at 10 a.m.
A sponsored luncheon will be provided.
University of Georgia scientists and others will discuss new
forages and such topics as
fescue toxicosis, poultry litter, results of a stocker project
and the Beef Quality
Assurance program.
The Mountain Experiment Station is south of Blairsville on
