At UGAโs College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES), we recognize that the needs of the agriculture industry reach far and wide, from the science that creates new plant varieties to the business plans that help agritourism thrive.
Jaemor Farms, located in Alto, Georgia, is a family owned and operated agritourism business that brings agriculture to life for families all across north Georgia with u-pick peaches and strawberries, fall corn mazes, and year-round educational opportunities.
Chloe Echols, sixth-generation farmer at Jaemor and a student within our Hospitality and Food Industry Management department at CAES, recently gave CAES dean and director Nick Place a tour of her familyโs farm to help us learn how we can better support agribusinesses across Georgia.
