The University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES) is a national leader in agricultural research and outreach. Our world-class faculty are seeking answers to some of the most complex questions agricultural producers are asking today โ and once we have the answers, itโs time to share them with those producers all across the state of Georgia.
CAES dean and director Nick Place recently toured Lewis Taylor Farms, a 6,500-acre produce farm in Tifton, Georgia, with Georgia Agricultural Hall of Fame inductee Bill Brim. Lewis Taylor Farms is one of many examples of what it looks like when CAES takes research from the universityโs lab to the producerโs field.
