Georgia pecan growers can learn the latest in pecan research at
the annual Fall Field Day Sept. 13 at the NILO Plantation in
Albany, Ga.
The program includes workshops on thinning and wisping trees,
timing nitrogen applications, integrated pest management, using
pecan fungicides and checking water use and its impacts.
The field day will begin at 8:30 a.m. It will end with a
