About

Research at the Esseili Lab for Environmental & Food Virology targets the microbial ecology of human viral pathogens and emerging viral pathogens, in order to formulate better strategies for their detection, prevention, and control across a variety of environmental matrices and along the farm to fork supply chain. The overall objective is to decrease the public health and economic burdens of these viral pathogens.
