About

My research is largely focused on the management of diseases of soybean, wheat and ornamental plants. Specific pathosystems include stem canker, frogeye leaf spot and rust on soybean; fusarium head blight, leaf rust and stripe rust of wheat, and rusts affecting ornamental plants. I work closely with CAES plant breeders Drs. Zenglu Li and Mohammed Mergoum to produce high yielding, disease resistant soybean and wheat varieties, respectively.
