About

My research interests are focused on vegetable production and specifically include variety evaluation, fertility management, and postharvest quality of vegetables. Other specific interests include calcium movement withing plants as it relates to quality and specifically management of blossom end rot in vegetables. Crops researched include watermelon, cucumber, squash, zucchini, cantaloupe, pepper, cabbage, kale, broccoli, onion, sweet corn, snap beans, and tomato.
