This year Place took the win against Schaapman Holsteins’ Harry Schaapman, who came in at a close second, and Harmony Grove Dairy Farm’s Jiles Coble, who brought home third.

Each competitor was allotted a minute of milking per cow, adding the milk to a measuring cylinder between rounds.

The CAES Department of Animal and Dairy Science assisted with the competition, which included dairy cows from Schaapman Holsteins.
