My program is focused on the biology and management of structural and household insect pests in support of the pest control industry, Georgia homeowners, and the Georgia Cooperative Extension Service. Although I have no formal research appointment (100% extension), my engage in an applied research program focused primarily on control of house-infesting ants and beetles. Research projects are designed to address the needs of pest control operators, including the evaluation of current and evolving ant control products (e.g., baits) and the development of new strategies and tactics for pest ant control. The Extension component of my program provides extensive training and educational support for the pest control industry and the county agent system in GA.
