이 프로그램은 교육과 연구용이며 수록된 영양소 요구량은 정확한 수준은 아니다. 사료성분 역시 포괄적인 것이 아니며 사용자가 사용하는 원료와는 맞지 않을 수도 있다.

이 프로그램은 제목, 원료사료, 영양소요구량, 배합률, 사료성분, 배합표, 그래프의 7개의 시트로 구성이 되어있다. 이외에도 원료사료 성분표(Poultry NRC, Swine NRC, Feedstuffs Magazine에서 인용)를 포함하고 있는 몇가지 시트가 포함된다. 이들 원료사료에 대한 자료를 사료배합에 사용하기 위해서는 먼저 원료사료 시트의 사용원료성분표에 복사해야 한다.
